Her interior is well ventilated with many port lights, hatches and dorades. Year-round climate controlled thermostat comfort with air-conditioning/heat and separate Espar diesel heater to use when anchoring out in those cool nights. Stereo with CD player and equipped for XM radio. Speakers in salon and cockpit. Cable TV ready. "Sweet Beas" interior is beautifully finished in satin teak with teak and holly sole. All her cushions are covered in custom fabrics inspiring a nautical design in shades of beige and cream giving the areas a spacious and elegant feel.

Main salon has a classic pilot berth in main cabin to port with small mid-height convenience shelf at aft end. Beautiful teak well designed drop-leaf dining table with removable fiddles, two drawers and internal wine bottle storage. Spacious L-shaped settee, with large settee opposite with shelves, entertainment center with television and more storage. Starboard side has two storage cabinets with louvered doors to accommodate main cabin entertainment center with television above starboard settee. (2) Book storage shelves between cabinets with removable teak retainer battens. One large drawer and one locker outboard of starboard settee backrest cushions. Settee backrests of teak veneer and teak trim. Note: there is 5” layered & bolstered main settee split wrap-around cushions with two-tier split backrests. 4” foam cushions in fwd and aft cabins.
• Spacious owners forward cabin featuring large berth (w/memory foam)4 drawers, 4 lockers, hinge-up bunk tops to maximize storage; hinged V-berth filler; changing seat, hanging locker w/louvered door, and bureau/vanity with 2 drawers, locker, and cabinet above with teak louvered doors & shelf.
• Forward head includes vanity with mirrored acrylic slider storage, teak towel rack, mirror storage cabinet below molded sink, enclosed by teak paneled door (on outer face) and white laminate finish on head side. Vacuum flush head and Stall shower with teak slat bench seat, cabinet locker with mid-height shelf outboard, large wet hanging closet outboard of shower, shower fixture mounted on bulkhead with adjustable shower faucet. Local self-priming pump services shower sump.
•Navigation station table is 30 x 36 forward-facing with full electronic display, hinged tabletop chart table, storage and large, comfortable seat cushion and back rest. Features include; outboard shelf, access to chart storage and sliding organizer tray below table top, cushioned seat of layered bolstered foam, instrument cabinet with (2) large wood panel faces hinged at the bottom for quick access, she even has file storage drawer below the seat. Convenient storage cabinet for binocular & misc. items outboard of seat, and series of three utility drawers on inboard table.
• Starboard aft cabin with recessed teak paneled door, hanging locker with louvered door and bureau/vanity with 2 large drawers, hinged footlocker, and cabinet with teak louvered door & shelf. Additional drawer above engine. Her convenient aft head accessed via teak paneled door, complete with wet hanging area outboard, cabinet below molded sink, mirror, vacu-flush, storage and hand shower(2) teak grab rails and direct access door to lazarette locker area equipped with fore and aft divider.

She was custom built for her owners and commissioned by Port Sanilac Marina in May of 2004. Designed to be a true dual purpose performance-cruise boat, she is enjoyed as a family day sailor or Harbor Springs, North Channel cruiser yet, optimized for performance, while adding many features and comforts to enhance her original design. Her elegantly designed interior finished in satin varnished teak features custom fabric and cushions with shades of beige and cream giving her a spacious open elegant feel. Her layout is the traditional two cabin, two head design. Amid ship to port is an L-shaped settee with fold down teak table. A classic pilot berth is behind the settee to port. To starboard is another settee/berth. Behind are beautiful teak storage cabinets with entertainment center. All upholstery fabrics are custom nautical design cream color that are like new. Additional throw pillows and pictures nautically accent her berths and settees. beautiful teak dinette folding (or removable) dinning table for family get togethers. Further aft, the fully instrumented navigation station is to starboard and the crew user friendly galley is to port. Aft of the galley is the convenient aft head, complete with a quiet electric flush head system. The large cockpit lazarette is accessible from the aft head bulk head door as well as the locker in the cockpit. Aft of navigation station is the aft guest cabin, which sleeps two on a double mattress with memory foam. There are roomy cedar hanging lockers in both cabins, with easy access wet storage in the outboard side of the aft head. "Sweet Bea" is a striking vessel in any port! Her Hull is Awl grip majestic blue with a Matterhorn white bootstripe. Her deck is Matterhorn white with Oyster color non-skid. Matching custom Tan Sunbrella dodger, bimini, connector and a very functional complete Tan canvas full enclosure that has both clear panels and or zip in screens! Carbon fiber Matterhorn white mast with rod rigging. She is fitted with a modern lead bulb shoal draft performance keel, specially designed for boat stability and performance. "Sweet Bea" is professionally maintained and always stored in heated indoor storage 7 months a year during the off season. Actually, in "fresh water only five months each year". Additional varnish work has been performed, enhancing her appearance to "drop dead gorgeous". Complete with a striking Chromed Bruce anchor and SS chain, attractive chromed dorades, which are easily removable for racing.
She has the full B&G Hercules race system with mast, cockpit and helm displays and integrated polars make optimizing performance much easier. An integrated Simrad WAAS GPS, chart plotter, Furuno radar system with displays both at the helm and navigation station. Plus the H2000 Halcyon compass 2000 upgraded pack complete with Gyro precision control. Simply the best outfitted J-46 we have ever represented!
