The BSSC Cruising Program includes the annual rendezvous to the North Channel as well as numerous weekend cruises. Past destinations have included ports such as Lexington, Bayview, Sarnia (Highland Games) and Harbor Beach. Another annual cruising event is the Mystery Cruise. We’d tell you more about it, but it is a Mystery, after all.

 

• North Channel Cruise Mileage Chart - distances between major destinations around Lake Huron.
  
  
• Distance/route calculator - Some sphun with spherical trigonometry. This is an excel spreadsheet with a number of destinations around Lake Huron. You can use it to calculate distances and routes.
  
  
• Favorite places - A blog set up to provide an online source of cruising information for favorite (or not) cruising destinations in Lake Huron or the Great Lakes. Please contribute to the database of destinations with information such as where to dock/anchor, restaurants or other fun things to do, tips on entering the destination, etc.
  
  
• NOAA Electronic Charts (NOAA ENC charts) - official navigation charts for electronic navigation devices.
  
  
• ENC viewing software download - free software to view ENC charts. These viewers have limited functionality, but give you an idea of what the charts have to offer.
